LOL - Mixed Media Tag

If there is one person who has made the world go Lol without uttering a single word and those frowning and giggly faces alike, its Charlie Chaplin 😊  It was his birthday last month so i thought it can be a small tribute to him as well 😇 And being a corporate person I have had many instances where i was super excited its Friday and later realised its just a Tuesday 😜 Lol!🤣 I have made a simple funny little tag with lot of textures and layering and mediums. Hope you guys like it 😊 And I hope you go lol seeing the tag 😁😁 And if someone just checked calendar to see if it's Friday or Tuesday, Gotcha 🤣

Find joy in the ordinary 😊

The normal day to day life on itself could bring in joy and happiness if you seek it ❤️ 

I am inspired by the moodboard of May month Splashmix Challenge. The colours are beautiful and summary😊 The beautiful flowers and the heart were the elements that influenced my layout.

This mixed media layout has a lot of layering, stenciling, stamping to name few techniques.

The materials used are white gesso, mixed media paste, stencils, stamps, art stones, chipboards, MDF cutouts, flowers, a special photograph of us 💕, crackle paste, gold acrylics and chalk paints.

Never Stop Exploring - DT Project for Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge(#472)

You are the rainbow of our cloud 💕 - Mixed media Canvas

Parents - The unsung heroes 😇

I am sure most of you agree with me on this. They are the ones who live thier lives for us first and then for our kids too!

 There is only one unconditional love in this world and it's of our parents ❤️

This project is inspired by the colours of the NSD mood board and the quote.

I have given the quote a twist "You are the rainbow of our clouds" signifying how parents have been our pillars of support. If not for them I wouldn't have been able to pursue my passion. Without them this quarantine life would have been hell for us. This is a small tribute to my parents 😊

I have used a canvas for the mixed media layout. Mediums used are white gesso, chalk paints, metallic waxes, gold acrylic paint, clay elements, chipboards, art stones, splash sprays, stencils, mixed media paste and few metallic elements.

Bundle of Joy - Mixed Media - Altered Art

My baby's first pic ever! This was how he was wrapped and handed over to my people after the delivery 🥰 So you can imagine how special this pic is to me 💕

I have been thinking of making a good layout to make it a decor piece so that I can see it everyday and treasure it forever. And hence is the inspiration behind this one😁

So many elements and textures have gone into making this beauty 🥰this is an altered wooden placemat.  I have used crackle texture paste, mixed media paste, stencils, gesso, chalk paints, metallic paints, fussy cut elements, wooden elements, handmade flowers from satin ribbon, resin frame, doilies, acrylic butterflies, laces etc

To finish it off I have used multiple sentiments and trust me I had to tell myself to stop adding more 😆

Thoroughly enjoyed making this one😇
